Thursday, September 24, 2009 - Dark, glossy ruby red. Sweet, floral aromatics. Blackcurrant, violets, roses and smoky oak on the nose. Full bodied with good acidity and youthful dry grippy tannins. Seamless, balanced palate; blackcurrant and cherry with undertones of leather, tobacco and coffee. The finish is dominated by the spicy oak. Very young, would like to try this again in 10 years.
