Saturday, April 6, 2024 - Another Wine gathering at RJ’s; 4/4/2024-4/7/2024 (Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina): En magnum. Exquisitely perfumed nose displaying perfectly ripe black and red fruit, blackberry, raspberry, Vosne spice, classic DRC stem, a hint of sous bois, rose petal, licorice, spicy spices and mineral. Excellent concentration, incredibly layered opulent yet pure black fruit, rich yet perfectly harmonious, beautifully detailed and weightless, perfect amount of acidity and mineral, and a long pure black fruit driven finish with stem and rose petal at the end. This is drinking perfectly. This can easily improve for a couple more decades.
