Friday, June 1, 2018 - Cork broke and heavy sediment in the neck - beware and filter and decant this before pouring. Decanted for two hours prior to serving. Nice mature Napa styled cab - still lots of dark fruit here but mellowed with time, some nice earthiness and tobacco notes, tannins are resolved - the wine comes across a bit soft. Pairs well with filet mignon and garlic fried rice from Ikanari Steak. These are fully mature and ready to drink now - don't think they will improve much but will probably hold for a few more years.
