Pop and pour from magnum. Tasty, typical Napa Cabernet with full body and delicious fruit. Not much single-vineyard character but very good nonetheless.

Cork broke and heavy sediment in the neck - beware and filter and decant this before pouring. Decanted for two hours prior to serving. Nice mature Napa styled cab - still lots of dark fruit here but mellowed with time, some nice earthiness and tobacco notes, tannins are resolved - the wine comes across a bit soft. Pairs well with filet mignon and garlic fried rice from Ikanari Steak. These are fully mature and ready to drink now - don't think they will improve much but will probably hold for a few more years.

Decanted for 2 hours, some heavy sediment so use a filter. This was really delicious and elegant, much less fruit forward than any of the Harris wines we have consumed. Nice aromatics of dark fruits and earth. On the palate, mature blackberry and plums with leather, spices and forest floor. Nice long finish. A well balanced and enjoyable wine.

It opened with perfectly ripe fruit and tannins, but simple. One hour into the glass, it started to explode with spice and complexity. Wow, this just makes me want to go back fo sip after sip to keep discovering new fruit and secondary flavors. Still very youthful, but it's tough to argue this isn't peaking.
