Wednesday, August 19, 2020 - Appearance: deep gold
Nose: medium plus intensity; aromas of creme brûlée, apricot, marmalade, orange peel, caramel, honey, toast, dried fruits, dried pineapple. It’s developing.
Palate: sweet, high acidity, high alcohol, full body, medium plus flavour intensity; flavours align with nose. The finish is long.
It’s a very good wine. Can drink now, has potential for further ageing.
Well balanced between acidity and sweetness. Great fruit concentration and length. Perfect with blue cheese!
