93 Points

Sunday, August 25, 2019 - Cool blue and black fruit on the nose, very pure. Quite a bit of wood spice shows up too. On the palate this is texturally light with silky tannins and delivers big blueberry and cherry fruit. Mostly primary and totally delicious, but with good terroir nuance, although not overly Echezeaux in character. Slight roast tomato to the palate. Absolutely classical, traditional, and very beautiful. 93-94.
