Monday, October 7, 2013 - Garnet and opaque in color. Tastes of mocha, cherries, licorice, and smooth tannins backed by integrated acidity. This is a big, balanced glass of wine to enjoy with something savory like a grilled steak. This will improve with time, gaining complexity, but it tastes so good now it is hard to keep a cork in it. Enjoy it while your 2005s, 2009s, and 2010s age.
