Friday, August 10, 2007 - I liked this wine much more than the last time I tried it. black color, dark red at the rim. strong nose and taste of chewy black fruits and a bit of lightly toasted oak. Muscular, perfect acidity, sweet to slightly hard tannins and a moderately long finish. Wine opens nicely, and just gets better while sitting in the glass. Another example of an excellent wine this unheralded vintage. One of the best QPR wines I've had this year. I think this wine has a lot of promise. Based on this tasting, I'll be looking to pick up another case.
