On the nose, a blast of tropical fruit and floral aromatics, with a herbal note that cuts through. On the palate, peach, honeysuckle, and lychee, with a smooth texture and a large dose of acidity, almost too much acidity relative to the fruit. Quite good, and as usual a quality wine from Donnhoff, but it suffered by direct comparison with the champagne that preceded it.
