Monday, September 5, 2022 - Even though I assumed it would be DOA, I took it to a Labor Day party hosted by a guy who loves Aussie Shiraz. As usual, I was wrong. It was more vibrant and alive than a bottle I opened a year ago. Prominent American oak, but plenty of blueberries and interesting secondary notes and flavors. Quite rich, with a terrific finish. Still great and still has some life left in it.
