Wednesday, August 9, 2006 - Black/ruby. Already impressive yet far from its peak, this wine has an explosive nose of rich cassis and sour cherry fruits, licorice, vanilla, toffee, garrigue. On the palate the wine is layered, rich, and endless. The fruit is extremely ripe, yet enveloped by soft sweet tannins and just enough acidity to give structure. A lovely wine with a promising future.
