Monday, April 22, 2013 - Medium bodied but masses of depth and complexity through a palate that can best be described as quite wild. Some funk on the nose follows through the flavour profile and the wine improves significantly with a lot of air time. Tannins have resolved nicely giving a lovely smooth texture. A good but not great Clos des Papes but still an impressive wine.
