Sunday, July 29, 2018 - From 375, in Riedel O stems at a dim sum restaurant. Extremely peachy, with some coconut notes on the finish. Round and pleasant with the food, but not something I'd look to drink on its own. Overall, it tasted like "reasonably good Riesling" with no real character beyond that to indicate the great vineyard or producer. I would have liked more acidity as well. No objections to it, and I enjoyed sipping it with dumplings, especially with chili sauce, but had hoped for a bit more, despite the vintage. Maybe it's in a dumb phase and needs more time, even from half bottle.
