Sunday, April 10, 2022 - Decanted four hours, Zalto burgundy glass. First taste was very friendly with polished tannins, mature mellow aromas and a sense of calm. With dinner it was a bit warmer and less mellow while it gave an impression of being lighter; less intense than the more recent Monviglieros. Fine mature Barolo with plenty of time yet.
