Wednesday, September 14, 2016 - A Cool Early Fall Wednesday Afternoon (Rocknroller's (Kevin's)): Very dark purple red color. Decanted for 15 minutes; drank 1 glass over 45 minutes. The nose is big with black and blue fruits of blackberry and blueberry, plum, vanilla, roasted meat, spice. The palate is a bit jammy, blackberry, boysenberry, plum, savory, pepper, wood and a bit of heat at the end. Holds its massive 16.5% ABV remarkably well though.
