Saturday, December 27, 2008 - All ass-n-elbows upon opening. Disjointed nose, acids and tannin out of whack, really sensed the alcohol. After 3 hours in a decanter, we came back to a different wine - dark red fruit, earthy/leather, considerably softer than earlier, but still with enough acid to hold it together. Popped and poured, I wouldn't buy again, but with some air it's a decent QPR food wine, though not exceptional at the price.
