Saturday, January 3, 2009 - Dense purple. Mulberry, potting soil, cigar box on nose. Blackberry with blueberry syrup on palate. Smoky oak. Quite a bit of grip, but not really rough tannins. Surprisingly long finish. Overall a satisfying blend that should improve a bit over next 1-2 years. Fine QPR - will add more to cellar.
