Tuesday, August 9, 2022 - Perfect cork with no travel. I can confirm the other recent notes that this was a tannic beast for many years, and that is indeed finally coming around. Still structured but softening and approachable, with a lovely gentle dried floral and sous-bois character emerging. I do prefer the refinements that show in more recent wines made by this cooperative, but this is a charmingly rustic wine that sings with the right food alongside.
