95 Points

Tuesday, June 1, 2010 - I have to say this was a rarity to find since there were only 50 cases produced, but the opening was made more special by having Mike Etzel at my home to tell the background of his first commercial release. The wine still had life and suprising fruit. It wasn't deep, but wasn't dead either. There was a faint corkiness to the bottle, but totally non-obtrusive. If you ever get a chance to try one of these Oregon gems, do it.
