95 Points

Saturday, June 6, 2009 - Dark red color with a bluish hue. Cool, yet ripe cherry on the nose backed up by spices á la Herpes des Provence. On the palate there is lots of boiled and candied red fruit, raspberries and cherries, with great concentration and intensity. A powerhouse backed with lively acidity and tannins. After a bit of air it broadens out on the midpalate and finish with earthy undergrowth and rustic notes of iron and black ink. Build for minimum 5 years of cellaring.
