Friday, April 21, 2023 - Peter's 40th (67 Pall Mall, London): Crimson and correct in colour for an 83. Books, leather and dried fruits on the nose. Medium bodied with fine tannins and feels nicely evolved with decaying red fruits, tobacco and more leather on the midpalate. Really well balanced. Drank alongside 83s from Palmer, Margaux and LLC and deserved its place, even if it had to blag its way in! From Zalto Bordeaux.
