Tuesday, May 14, 2013 - Deep red. Dark plum and cherry, pepper and vanilla. Whiff of sea shore. Rich plummy fruit. Well concentrated, showing cherry syrup and just a little oxidation (thanks to SoCal heat). This wine, properly stored, should gain complexity and perhaps integrate the oak.
