Saturday, May 19, 2012 - A little better than last time but not impressive. I was expecting more. Color is medium ruby. Ok upon opening the wine has so much CO2 as if it were a sparkling wine which is a little off setting - with a lot of shaking it dissipates... Nose has nice cherry fruit with lots of dark spices, licorice, tar and garrigue. Palate is fruity with quite high alcohol, medium acidity and soft taninns. Typical Grenache dominated CdP that needs time.
