Friday, June 10, 2016 - Pnp. Showing a little more open than my last bottle but still holding back a little. Super high viscosity. Sweet notes of ripe cherries, kirsch, garrigue, also some ripe dark berries, some seaweed, pepper and sweet spices, as well as some orange/tangerine zest. It's full-bodied, dense and powerful, with still pretty high tannin taming the sweet fruit and good medium acidty adding some freshness too. Long and complex finish. A very impressive showing and this time I'm confident that it will also age nicely for quite a few years. (95+)
