Wednesday, January 13, 2021 - Crimson in color. 14.5% ABV. Sublime nose of red fruits, licorice and garrigue. Medium body with ample acidity. Notable balance. Exceptionally rich and concentrated. Kirsch liqueur, raspberry compote, strawberry and roasted herbs on the palate. The finish on the wine is exquisite. This bottle is light years ahead of the same bottle five years ago. I don't really recall many bottles that improved so markedly with time in the cellar. Best over the next 3-5 years.
