Tuesday, December 3, 2013 - Slow oxed 2 hours rather than decant as it was deemed near ready to serve. Light violet color. Just a terrific wine that was mineral-driven, slightly tense and with deep, texturally complex palate. Was a great match for pan seared Cali halibut with roasted peppers. Seems to be at an optimal point, but no signs of impending decline.
