Tuesday, January 19, 2021 - Magnum. Opened it and tasted, extremely tight and bitter. Color was antique transparent at the edges. Left in glass for an hour with no change. Then double decanted and left cork off bottle for an hour. Went to dinner and the wine had transformed into deep rich color, full bodied, long finish, displayed fruit forwardness of Cali Pinot, but had depth to it as well. Drank beautifully. Don't give up on it if it first displays poorly from the bottle!
