Thursday, October 27, 2016 - Double Blind Reds at Tilia (Tilia, Mpls): Very dark/purple red color. PNP, drank 1 glass double blind over an hour plus. This one I nailed as '07 CDP. It was so over the top, I couldn't handle the oak and alcohol that permeated the wine. The fruit is massive, saturated black fruits, liqueur, lots of licorice, bold tannins. This was young, for me very over the top, and just out of whack. I have my doubts as to whether this will become something I'd appreciate - it will be another 10 years if it does.
