Friday, October 24, 2014 - FW-BYOB-HT#2: ¤FW - Big vocal nose of blackcurrants, plums, bay leaves and some barnyard hay. Knowing what it was I felt a bit disappointment that there weren't any syrah spiciness to be found, but still a very nice and fresh nose. Overall the wine had a great freshness to it. Medium body, with distinct, tart tannins and a really good intensity. A few more years in the cellar and this will probably be a even greater!
