Saturday, February 18, 2023 - Stunning power. Incredible aromatic complexity as this unfolds in the glass. Needs a lot of air... otherwise this will taste up short.
Italian espresso... darkest blueberries... rich meat jus... thyme... earth... blood. Subtly sauvage. Profound minerality underlying immense fruit tamed by proper acidity. Substantial heat from the alcohol. Still very young. Happy that I have a few more in the cellar that will wait... at least 5 more years.
