Saturday, March 18, 2017 - This bottle was in a great spot, with cassis, tar and smokey notes on the nose. The palate still had grippy tannins, though well balanced with the fruit and oak flavours. Long finish of savoury spice. Took a little while to open up though. Have one more bottle to see if it goes any further, but it's doing well now - no need to wait any longer.
