Friday, December 31, 2021 - Great expression of chambolle's characteristics in this vineyard. medium to light bodied and elegant, with softened tannin and a nose of spice and leather and red fruit. On the palate medium plus acidity and a lingering finish. The perfect foil for Holiday Spiced goose and vegetables. Delicious. Day 2 drinking just as well...but less fruit and more baking spice like nutmeg and cinnamon. Have one more, but I don't think there's much need to wait.
