Friday, May 18, 2012 - Popped 1 hour before first pour, consumed over 3 hours. Nose: Medium plus expressiveness, lemon custard, vanilla, buttered bread, and white flowers. Palate: Full bodied, nice creamy mouth-feel, green apple and lemon pie with buttered crust. Finish: Medium plus length sense of semi-tart tropical fruit and vanilla. The last of 4 bottles, all of which exceeded expectations.
