I know that we both liked it. Pleasing example of a Russian River Vally Chardonnay, based on our experience. I don't remember specifics about nose, taste, finish, etc., unfortunately. Want to compare this single-vineyard chard to others by Iron Horse.

Popped 1 hour before first pour, consumed over 3 hours. Nose: Medium plus expressiveness, lemon custard, vanilla, buttered bread, and white flowers. Palate: Full bodied, nice creamy mouth-feel, green apple and lemon pie with buttered crust. Finish: Medium plus length sense of semi-tart tropical fruit and vanilla. The last of 4 bottles, all of which exceeded expectations.

Popped and poured, consumed over 3 hours. Nose: Very expressive, citrus - grape fruit and green apple, peaches and cream, and white florals. Palate: Medium plus bodied, excellent balance, tasty pear and apple fruit up front which carry nicely through the mid-palate, turns a little creamy towards the back-end with just a little harshness on the edges. Finish is long and tasty, dominated by sweet citrus fruit. I'm not typically a white wine fan but this is an excellent effort by Iron Horse.

Nose forward with oak but palate really bright acidic and refreshing. Very food friendly. Smooth and enjoyable.
