Wednesday, April 1, 2015 - On its own, this probably would have been too extracted for my tastes; paired with a rich mushroom pasta, it's lovely. The food balances the weight of the fruit, and the earthy mushrooms really let the herbal and forest floor aspect of the wine step forward. Feels like this is in a good place for current drinking, but lots left in the tank.
