90 Points

Friday, May 14, 2010 - Popped and poured. Beautiful yellow-gold with a tinge of green. Forward aromas of fresh stone fruits, citrus, assorted tropical fruits, and a touch of minerals. Medium-light body. On the palate, this Sauvignon Blanc shows just as the nose promises, with flavors of citrus oils perfectly complimented by ripe stone fruits, and hints of pineapple. Notes of minerals and a touch of spicy oak develop as the wine warms in glass. Overall, a very well-balanced white, with perfect acidity for matching with a variety of cuisine. Drink over the short term.

Quick comment: Although having nothing to do with the contents, Larkmead deserves kudos for use of the clear, capsule-less bottle...strikingly elegant in presentation.
