Wednesday, December 30, 2009 - Drank over an hour or so. Nose shows pretty floral (hibiscus flower) and candied strawberry aromas. Almost creamy and airy on the palate. Great mouth feel in fact, even if it is light bodied. Mainly tasting of light berries (cranberry) on the palate. The interest is with the texture though. Finish starts a bit awkward, but begins to unfold to tart berries with some coating tannins. Candied berries linger, but lightly so. Overall quite great go to wine that you can find almost anywhere. I'd never be disappointed to find only this at a remote store on Maui for $10.
