Community Tasting Note

Friday, December 30, 2005 - Saturated deep garnet with an almost purple hue to it – young. Pure cassis driven nose – a touch of earth. Beginning to develop some depth and secondary aromas. Medium bodied – the attack is pure Bordeaux – red cassis, mocha, stones and wood spread across the palate. This is still youthful. The finish is not strong, but it lingers. An excellent wine, I should save the last bottle for a few years – if this is the second wine, I have great hopes for what its big brother will taste like in 10 years. Just lovely. (17)
