Community Tasting Note

Monday, November 18, 2013 - Visual: Dark purple with slight bricking at the edges

Nose: Dark fruits, cigar ash, plums, tar

Palate: Dark fruited, strong, but somewhat balanced tannins, tar, earth and wood that is still integrating, but getting there.

Some secondary notes, but still plenty alive. Solid B. Great QPR. I think I paid around $10/bottle en premier. It was a good value, even if the cost of cellaring it has made it reach $20/bottle. Hard to find anything this good for less than $40-50/bottle today.
