Sunday, September 8, 2013 - 13.5% - Clear, med to deep garnet / clean, pronounced intensity - blackberry, blueberry, liquorice, some green bellpepper, cocoa powder, dusty, well integrated oak - overall great bouquet / dry, med to low acidity, full body, med to high tannins, med+ intensity and length. Concentrated berries, black olive with a solid backbone, new world style fruitforward without any excessive heat from the alcohol or overripe fruit. The nose has depth and is quite profond - meditative wine. The tannins are smoother and more refined than the last bottle opened 2 years ago.
