  • Un peu over the top, la carafe lui fait grand bien. Confiture, bleuets.

  • Decanted for 1hr. Deep dark fruit on the nose, wonderful. I was really impressed. I am not sure if this will continue to get better, but it is drinking beautifully right now.
The wine looks brick colored. There is light sediment in the bottle. It tastes like blueberry, black currant (cassis) and vanilla. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

  • Fantastic... Smooth, full of Okanagan red fruit, almost jammy.

  • 13.5% - Clear, med to deep garnet / clean, pronounced intensity - blackberry, blueberry, liquorice, some green bellpepper, cocoa powder, dusty, well integrated oak - overall great bouquet / dry, med to low acidity, full body, med to high tannins, med+ intensity and length. Concentrated berries, black olive with a solid backbone, new world style fruitforward without any excessive heat from the alcohol or overripe fruit. The nose has depth and is quite profond - meditative wine. The tannins are smoother and more refined than the last bottle opened 2 years ago.
90 now... will see after decanting

  • 4 hour decant. Clear, dark ruby. Clean and medium intensity on the nose. Notes of chocolate, licorice, tar, black fruits. Tannins are soft, medium acidity, nice balance. Earthy, blackberry, some mushrooms and leather on the palate. A little one dimensional, but very enjoyable. Medium finish. Fine effort.

  • 13.5% Clear, med to deep ruby/ clean, med to pronounced blackfruits, some light cedar and vanilla / dry, med+ body, med + voluptuous tannin, long and persistant length, med+ intensity, med acidity with blackberry and blackcurrant... Good structure and has nicely developed for a wine that is ready to drink right now with some aging potential (better than the 2008 – which is too young) , nice complexity that evolves in a good way after decanted for 1.5hr

Belle bouteille! 91-92.

  • Good QPR. Not too tannic, but could still use another year in the bottle before drinking.
