Tuesday, December 1, 2015 - Decanted; light sediment; first tasted an hour later. Bright cherry red color. Modest nose of dark fruit and tar. Classic Sangiovese on the palate, medium bodied, tart dark berries, well balanced by acids and tannins. Long pleasing finish. A well-made wine that is probably at its peak but should be quite drinkable for another couple of years.
