Tuesday, November 24, 2009 - Golden yellow - suprisingly deep color for such a young wine. Seemed a bit clumsy, ripe and hot compared to the Raveneau. Suprising as JM Morey usually make wines of real purity and class. Maybe it was just a mistake to serve it after the Chablis. Rich texture, fat, almost oily. Exotic fruit profile, honey and marzipan. Lacks freshness and minerality. The alcohol stuck out right after opening the bottle but got tucked in with air. An off bottle I hope.
