Thursday, August 14, 2014 - Eclectic Wine Dinner (goosefoot - Chicago IL): Served alongside Perrot-Minot 2001 Mazoyeres-Chambertin. All black fruit with moderate spice, well integrated new oak. Hints of some animale and gamy background notes. I found the two wines very similar, no surprise given geographic proximity, but the Mazoyeres just showing slightly "more" of everything.
