Friday, June 26, 2015 - Brought this to Agricola with the MIT Peer group, last wine of the evening after a Peter Michael Ma Belle Fille and a Pegau CdP. Decanted at the restaurant for about 45 minutes, drank over an hour. Would opt for longer decant on next bottle.

Deep purple color. Nose is classic Pritchard Hill, dark and red fruits. Palate was tart/sour dark fruits, blueberry, tart black cherry, currants, baking spices, olives, smoke, white pepper. Really rich mouthfeel and texture. Finish is layered and complex, goes for 30+ seconds.

This is in a good spot but will (IMO) improve with age. Its got all the richness to keep evolving. Balanced French oak, tannins are smooth and resolving, will get better although really great now. WIll hold for a bit
