Macerated blackberries, a hint of blueberry, cured meats, mesquite smoke, and sagebrush. And all this within 5 minutes of corking. Rich and flavorful but not even a hint of sweetness with a totally invisible acidity that is impeccably woven into the entire package. Moderately firm structure and slowly building grip on the finish. A great, great wine, that could potentially go ballistic. 92+.
