Tuesday, February 3, 1987 - Deep dark purple; almost black. The bouquet is still closed, but there are some flowers…..am I imagining things? and good oak. The wine is firm and has complexity and refinement. What a great period for Guaud this is. A beauty, certainly considering the vintage.
