Friday, August 14, 2015 - A dense darkly colored wine, which still has plenty of tannins but has plenty of delicious black cherry fruit. Rich nose of dark red fruit and a little leather. Palate is dense and concentrated, great fruit in the middle with plenty of energy. Lengthy cherry, earth, and mild spice finish. Probably on the upswing, but certainly approachable enough now air. Great stuff, a little better with food than without.
