Friday, May 20, 2011 - Minneapolis Wine Club Barolos (Pam and Mark's): very dark red color. This has a really unique nose. Kiwi, tropical, strawberry, black cherry, floral, licorice, a candied note, perfume as this opens. This was a bit tight to start, but patience paid off for those that waited. Moderate tannins, but round, integrated well for the age, nice mouth feel, long finish. This really improved over 2 hours and was my #3 WOTN. This should be stellar down the road. 93+pts.
