Based on the second experience it is recommended to hold these bottles for a few years or decant well. Bottle age will compliment this wine far more than decanting so hold em if you got em. First glance gives the impression the wine is "just pinot" but time reveals a much more interesting soil note that is worth the wait. Amazing value.
